The Secondary Student Handbook and Code of Conduct is designed to provide important information for students in grades 7-12. Education is a team effort, and we know that students, parents, teachers, and staff members all working together can make this a wonderfully successful year for all students.
The Secondary Handbook was written to provide you and your child information about specific rules, policies, and procedures related to the academic, counseling, and overall operations of our school. Important information concerning credits, graduation, grade point calculations, and extra-curricular programs offered by the high school are covered in the handbook. The handbook changes from time to time and should be reviewed at least each fall and spring to ensure your child experiences success throughout high school.
The Secondary Code of Conduct is adopted by the La Vega School Board each year in order to promote a safe and orderly learning environment for every student. In order for the high school to operate safely and efficiently, you and your student(s) must be familiar with and abide by the expectations, procedures and rules outline in the Code of Conduct section of the handbook.
